Children's Zoo Trip: The children will be taking the church bus to Creation Kingdom on Saturday, May 19. Afterwards, they will eat a picnic lunch at Warrior's Path State Park in Kingsport.

Spring Small Group Bible Studies!: New Spring Small Group Bible Studies will be taught April 18 - May 23. Pastor Mike will be teaching "Judges: Choices and Consequences" and John Mark Adrian will be teaching a study of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters.

Yard Sale: Our annual yard sale will be held 2 times: May 3 & 4 and June 1 & 2. Items you wish to donate for the May sale need to be brought to the Rock no later than April 30. All funds raised will be used for the summer mission trip to Tarboro, NC.

ITEM OF THE MONTH for Operation Christmas Child : Each month there will be boxes available in the church foyer & in the hall to collect items for shoeboxes all through the year. The item for the month of April is stuffed animals.

MISSION TRIP INTEREST MEETING: If you would like to participate in this year's summer mission trip to Tarboro, NC or learn more about it, please come to the Interest Meeting on Sunday, April 22 at 12pm in the church library. Contact John Ponish if you have any questions: 870-1593

HAMBURGER & HOT DOG LUNCH: The Missions Committee is sponsoring a Hamburger & Hot Dog Lunch following worship on April 29. Please join us for good food and fellowship! All donations towards the meal will go towards funding our summer mission trip to Tarboro, NC.

CHILDREN'S SNACK-n-PAINT: Inviting all children (birth - Grade 6) to join us on Saturday, April 21 from 10am-12pm for a Snack-n-Paint activity in the Fellowship Hall! The only thing you need to bring is an adult. :) Contact Sandy Mullins for more information: 870-1616

NEW CHURCH DIRECTORY: If you are interested in helping update our pictorial church directory, please meet with Teresa Adkins on Wednesday, May 9 at 5pm in the church library (Ladies' Friendship Classroom).

Wednesday Night Small Group Bible Studies!: Wednesday evening activities are in full swing: 6pm - Fellowship Dinner, 7pm - Small Group Bible Studies & Children in Action missions group, 7:50pm - Choir Rehearsal.

CHILDREN IN ACTION: Our Wednesday night missions program for children (K - Grade 6) is in full swing! Each Wednesday, from 6:45-7:45, children will be learning about missions, praying for missions & being involved in hands-on missions activities. Nursery will be provided for birth - age 4.

Sunday School: We encourage you to get involved in Sunday School at 10am on Sunday mornings. There are classes for all ages. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your faith and to connect with others in a more personal way.

Meals on Wheels: Our Meals on Wheels Ministry will begin again in August. If you have a family member, neighbor, or know of someone in our congregation who we may serve, please contact Susan Davidson or the church office.

Church Library: Be sure to visit our Church Library. There are many ready available resources at your disposal. We have Christian fiction, novels, devotionals, Bible translations and much more.

Let's Help-Grab N Go Ministry: Food items are needed for the Department of Social Services Adult Protective Services. The food items help bridge the gap at the end of the month. Food items needed are: Crackers, peanut butter, vienna sausage, beanie weenies, pork n beans, canned vegetables/fruit, pudding cups, jello, granola bars, pop tarts, powdered milk, instant potatoes, oatmeal/cereal, soups/chili/beef stew, canned meats, coffee/juice/soda, mac n cheese(with liquid cheese), canned pasta, ramen noodles, spaghetti noodles/sauce, oil, pancake mix/syrup, rice, ensure, dried fruits, chips, any other non-perishable items. Other items such as: lotions, soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, toothbrush/paste, denture cleaner/paste, brush/comb, socks, wash clothes, towels, dish towels, pot holders, gloves, scarves, knit hats, puzzle books, ink pens, note pads, toilet paper, dish liquid, laundry detergent, trash bags, throws/fleece blankets. Our church has made this ministry, Grab N Go, our year round mission. These items can be placed in the white baskets in the hall year round.
